As a collective the teachers and administrators at TLC regularly discuss the guiding principles and philosophy that support curricular application. One of the things that we talk about regularly at our staff meetings and on a daily basis is the image of our school and the work that we do here. The main message that we would like to promote as a school is that we function beyond the level of a day care. We would love to open up a discussion about day care versus school. Things to consider: How is day care defined? How is school defined? How do we fit into these definitions? Are we day care or are we more?
