The Hundred Languages of Children is a poem that was written by Loris Malaguzzi the founder of the Reggio Emilia philosophy and is essentially our mantra at Timberline. Earlier this week, I was wearing a scarf with the Hundred Languages of Children printed on it. I found it quite fitting that a four year old was the first person to ask me about the meaning of the print on my scarf. Each time I read this poem, it takes on a new meaning for me. Please take a few moments to read the poem and feel free to add your responses.
